A Project and a Little More Fall

The project seemed to be going well, it is a deconstructed poncho that was large and loose hanging.  I decided I wanted something a bit smaller with a closer fit.  So, I'm trying to make another, smaller poncho.  Here's my first attempt.  The shell stitch pattern looks nice with the yarn and of course it all looks great hanging in the beautiful tree but the weave is a little too tight so I ripped it out and got a bigger hook, much bigger.  I'm using the same stitch and it's looking quite lacy.  I'll have a pix soon.  Crossing my fingers it works! :)

Working Out The Quirks

I'm finally getting the hang of the camera!  From every photog I come across I glean a lesson.  Yesterday I tackled the 'close up'.  I'm very happy with the way things are going.  :)

Yay!  Finished!  Mine turned out a little large but my older daughter wants to give it a try on and it is quite comfy and warm.  Just like wearing a blankey.  :)

I'm gonna take another approach to this wrap and see if I have a bit more control over the end results.  Wish me luck!

p.s.  Probably should explain the blog title, Mo Do.  Pronounced Moe Doe, it's my nick name for anything Mother Daughter.  These are Mother Daughter wraps.  :)
